For the Well-Being of Patients

The enormous savings of costs in health care facilities does not rule out the possibility of visually pleasing interior designs with an emphasis on sustainability. An example is the physical therapy unit at the Eichstätt Clinic in Germany. Although planned on a tight budget, the new design of the rooms was carried out with beautifully selected colours and materials. The stylish atmosphere was created with the elastic PVC flooring “blond driftwood” from the collection EXPONA DESIGN by objectflor Art und Design Belags GmbH in Cologne. The natural-looking wood finish of the light heterogeneous PVC floorboards conveys the feeling of liveability and warmth for patients.
